BEAUTIFULLY HANDCRAFTED WINDOWS & DOORS
In the barn this week, we’re completing a traditional 8 over 8 Box Sash Window with lead weights, pulleys, and sparkling new brass catches.
This beautiful sash window will replace an existing window that has been in situ for over 100 years but is now sadly beyond repair.
As it’s a Listed Building, we have handmade a like for like replacement with the exact same moulding and attention to detail that the original window displays.
Standing at over 2m tall, it is housed in the magnificent family dining room and overlooks the grand sweeping driveway of this glorious Herefordshire home.
With care and maintenance, we envisage this window will last every bit as long as the original window - our timber windows and doors are all fully finished in microporous water-based paints that, (subject to location) only need to be repainted every 5-7 years.
