Solid oak doors are a very popular choice when renovating cottages and the rich honey colour of the timber is beautiful and very welcoming.
We design and manufacture our oak doors with high security locking mechanisms as standard so that your home is always fully secure and protected.

Our doors can be fully or part glazed with double glazing or you can choose to have sandblasted glass for extra privacy.

Please be aware that Oak has a high natural tannic acid content which causes the timber to turn black when exposed to moisture containing trace amounts of iron. It is therefore imperative that the coating is regularly maintained - we highly recommend that this is undertaken on an annual basis to preserve the underlying timber and the richness of the final finish.

All of our doors are spray finished in house to ensure all areas of the window and framework are evenly coated and the wood substrate is fully protected. Our modern coatings will protect your windows for up to 10 years before they need to be recoated * (*Subject to terms and conditions ). We also offer a dual tone finish -so the internal colour can be a different colour to the external colour to compliment your interior decor.
